Our personal care support is designed to provide  you with the physical,  encouragement and emotional support that you might need to continue living independently.
 
Our personal care support includes:​

 

  • Washing / bathing and continence care
  • Dressing up and applying any prescribed creams
  • Administering your medication,
  • Meals and drinks preparation
  • Supporting with social outings and appointments.
  • Day and night sits.
  • Assisting with your bed routine-getting in and out of bed 



Domestic Care Support



This support is designed to meet your additional help needs with domestic tasks where you might be capable of meeting your personal care needs. Our domestic care support offers a range of practical help with everyday tasks in your home. 

These may include:

 

  • Prescription ordering and collection support
  • Cleaning  and other household tasks.                                                                                                     
  • Laundry.
  • Bed making
  • Attending appointments and shopping support. 
  • Washing up.
  • Meals and drinks preparation
  • Settling home after a hospital stay

 

2. COMPANIONSHIP

This is aimed at providing social companionship support  ranging from day-to-day  activities, providing staff to spend time with you indoors  or accompany you on social outings or appointments.

 This is designed to provide companionship in activities or hobbies that you enjoy doing such as :

  • Going out for movies or watching television at home
  • Going out for short walks,
  • Dining out
  • Running household errands
  • Playing games,
  • Accessing internet support

 

3. PALLIATIVE CARE

We provide care support for our clients suffering with a life-threatening illnesses and/or needing End of Life care support. This is designed  to enable  you to remain in the comfort of your own home while providing the support  you require. This can be 24hour support or at the hours that you request for.

Our  staff are well equipped to  offer you support and reassurance you need while respecting your wishes and always showing discretion. Our staff will liaise with other professionals involved in your care in case of emergencies, as agreed in your  care plan. Our staff are well trained in last rites should the inevitable happen  and will follow the laid down care plans to ensure that your wishes are respected.

 

 

 

4. LIVE IN CARE

 This is care and support services for individuals who require 24-hour care and have no room for staff to move in or for those would prefer to have staff to move in with them. Tru Care Services arrange for staff to look after your needs during the day, and throughout the night. The staff  changeover will be agreed and suited around your needs. All staff will carry out tasks as agreed with you in your care plan.

This is designed for those wishing to remain independently in their own home but require a 24-hour care support.  We  will provide staff to live in your home and support you to remain living independently and enable you to continue with your chosen lifestyle.

Live In Care ensures that you and your family have the peace of mind and  are benefiting from expert care tailored to your needs by qualified healthcare professionals in the comfort of your home unlike care provided in other accommodation settings. This allows you to have continuity and flexibility of care, particularly for those suffering from specialised care where familiarity and continuity is of essence.

Factors  that might require you to have a live-in carer might include:

  • Hospital and / or care home discharge back to living at home
  • For couples who want to stay together to minimise costs by getting staff come to provide support to both in the comfort of their own home.
  • Long term illness or illness that require specialised care and support



5. SUPPORTED LIVING SUPPORT

Tru Care Services Ltd offers a range supported Living support to enable people to live independently in the community and achieve their personal goals and outcomes . This is designed for individuals living with learning difficulties or the elderly living in supported living accommodations.

 This support includes and not limited to :

  • Promoting independent living skills such us meals preparation, medication administration, shopping,  and so on.
  • Support to Access community services
  • Support to start living in their own homes 
  • Facilitating and encouraging to learn new skills e.g., Budgeting, gardening etc.
